On January 22, 2025, the company's general manager, Dong Zhenyu, chief engineer, Li Jianguo, and director of the Technical Research Institute, Taha Mattar, visited the Shaoxing Special Equipment Inspection Institute. They held friendly consultations with Director Du Xiyong and other relevant personnel from the Shaoxing Special Equipment Inspection Institute regarding comprehensive cooperation between the two parties and signed a "Cooperation Framework Agreement." This is an important step for the company to achieve its goal of "becoming an outstanding supplier of high-quality stainless steel products and services."
The Shaoxing Special Equipment Inspection Institute is a Class A comprehensive testing institution. It has established the Shaoxing Special Equipment Intelligent Detection and Evaluation Key Laboratory, a Zhejiang Provincial Postdoctoral Workstation, and a Shaoxing Municipal Doctoral Innovation Station. It currently has 3 doctoral students, 52 master's students, 2 senior professionals, and 44 associate senior professionals; it possesses advanced instruments and equipment, including industrial CT, field emission scanning electron microscopy, ultra-high-temperature laser confocal microscopy system, XRD, gas chromatography-mass spectrometry, digital X-ray, nonlinear ultrasonic system, ultrasonic phased array, and acoustic emission. It has initially formed an innovative platform integrating talent cultivation, technology application, and academic research. Zhejiang Youyi New Materials Co., Ltd. is a company committed to becoming an outstanding supplier of high-quality stainless steel products and services. The company is currently establishing a technical research institute and a Shaoxing municipal-level expert workstation. It has a technical team including one nationally high-level talent introduced from abroad, 6 industry experts, and 16 other technical personnel. The company possesses stainless steel smelting, refining, and casting equipment, including an electric arc furnace, two AOD furnaces, one VOD furnace, two refining ladles, and two 3-machine 3-stream continuous casting machines, as well as quality control and quality assurance facilities. It has an annual production capacity of 260,000 tons. Products include heat-resistant stainless steel, free-machining stainless steel, weldable stainless steel, duplex stainless steel, cold-heading stainless steel, high-temperature alloys, and super austenitic stainless steel.
